The mission of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the computing and information sciences.

New Members are initiated into this chapter each spring.
You may be eligible if:
- You are an undergraduate CS, CITA, DATA, or INFS majors, AND You have completed 18 or more hours in computing courses from:
- CSCI courses numbered 220 and above
- DATA courses numbered 210 and above
- CITA courses numbered 295 and above
- With a GPA >= 3.5 in those courses
- You are a graduate student and have completed 18 hours or more in graduate computer science courses with a GPA >= 3.8
- Overall GPA >=3.0
